I began my yoga journey during the pandemic as a way to connect with exercise in a more mindful and compassionate way. I stumbled upon Yoga Lab in 2021 while looking to expand my practice, and am forever grateful that I took the leap and tried it out. After taking Anna and Jeremy's Intro to Yoga workshop as a New Year's Resolution, I then sought to further strengthen my practice in functional movement and mindfulness through the 200 Hour Teacher Training, graduating in April 2024. Overall, I find my purpose in helping and supporting individuals of all identities as they work toward their own definition of mind and body wellness, while remaining conscious of their innate self-worth and actively practice self-compassion and gratitude. I believe that yoga is one of the ways that this can be experienced, and the Yoga Lab community provides a supportive and nurturing space to do so.
Outside of Yoga Lab, you can find me at Penn State, where I practice as a licensed career counselor for Liberal Arts undergraduate students, empowering them to choose and work toward career paths aligned with their strengths, values, and interests. Additionally, I love animals, and especially love lounging with my cat alongside a good book and a cup of tea! Looking forward to practicing with you all!
