In runner lingo, out-and-back refers to a course that goes to a turn around and ends where it started, in this case your yoga mat.
We will begin class barefoot on your mat to prepare the body for the run/walk (about 20 minutes of yoga), but have your sneakers & water handy.
We will lace up together and synchronize our watches to do an individualized 20 minute session–this could be an easy jog, speed play, run/walk intervals, plyometrics in your backyard, whatever type of steps you want to add to your day.
We’ll reconvene in our virtual studio for yoga cross training and cool down (roughly 25 minutes of yoga).
You’ll have the social outlet that helps you stick to a routine without the pressure to “keep up” or “slow down” that might prevent you from joining a group run making it very beginner friendly. This 75 minute class will include approximately 45 minutes of yoga instruction to bookend 20 minutes of individual run/walk time (with 5 minute transitions/water breaks).
