At its simplest, Mindfulness is the practice of fully “being here” now; simply observing our present-moment experiences with an attitude of openness and non-judgement. Mindfulness doesn’t ask us to drop everything to live in a cave without professional commitments or technology, instead, a practice of mindfulness allows us to live with clarity and ease within the challenges of a busy, productive life. The path of Mindfulness and Meditation is an ongoing journey filled with self-discovery, experimentation, and joy.

Armed with openness, curiosity, & compassion, we learn to observe our thoughts & feelings without judgment and embrace ourselves as we are, at this moment. It’s an opportunity to better know ourselves and to rediscover what it means to truly be alive.

This 2 hour workshop with Mark & Ariel provides an opportunity for you to explore the fundamentals of Mindfulness and Meditation, and to discover how to integrate these practices into your yoga and everyday “busy” life. This workshop is experiential and includes sections of sitting, gentle movement, inter-personal activities, and group discussion.

This workshop counts towards Yoga Alliance Continuing Education hours.
