Helpful Tips

  • Scheduling System: We use a scheduling system called TeamUp. Please Log In or Register a new account to sign up for classes. You can also download the Team Up Members App for easy scheduling.
  • Class Venue: Class times are EST. Classes are listed as STUDIO (for in-person classes at Yoga Lab’s physical studio space) or VIRTUAL (for livestream virtual classes). Some classes are listed twice as both STUDIO and VIRTUAL, with teachers live-streaming their studio class. Please sign up for whichever mode you plan to participate in.
  • Preregistration Required: Please sign up online at least 30 min before class to reserve your spot. You’ll receive a confirmation email with the link to the class details. Last-minute signups are possible, but we recommend signing up early to reserve your space in the class and to inform the teacher of how many students to expect.
  • Waitlist: Sign up is first-come first-served. A waitlist will also be available. We don’t recommend dropping into the studio without signing up beforehand, because you may get turned away if the class sign-up list is full.
  • Cancellations: Cancellations must be made 30 min before class it will count as a Late Cancellation. If you cancel after the cancellation deadline, you may still unregister to open up a spot for someone else but this will still be counted against your membership usage limits and you will not receive a refund.
  • Bring Proof of Vaccination for STUDIO Classes: We request that all individuals be vaccinated before signing up for STUDIO classes.
Students will be required to show teachers their vaccine card or a photo of their vaccination card in order to enter the studio and take class.
  • OUTDOOR Events: We welcome vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals for outdoor events (e.g., Yoga on the Mountain, TGIF Happy Hour). Proof of vaccination is not required for outdoor events.

Sundays 5:30 – 6:30 pm: Gentle Strength (Level 1-2) with Allie

Begin or end your week realizing the gentle strength within yourself. This vinyasa class will cultivate gentle strength through a comfortable pace, breath awareness, core stability, and functional movement. We will wind down each class with a series of restorative postures and prepare for the upcoming week with an extended savasana.

“One of the basic reasons many people take up yoga is to change something about themselves: to be able to think more clearly, to feel better, and to be able to act better today than they did yesterday in all areas of life. In these endeavors yoga can be of great help, and it requires no prerequisites that must be fulfilled before we set out on this path.”
T.K.V. Desikachar, The Heart of Yoga
“The work of cultivating mindfulness is also play. It is far too serious to take too seriously—and I say this in all seriousness!—if for no other reason than because it really is about our entire life. It makes sense for a lightness of being and playfulness to be key elements of the practice of mindfulness, because they are key elements of well-being.”
John Kabat-Zinn, Mindfulness for Beginners
